Equipment

Our primary production line consists of Mazak 5-axis multitasking machining centers, turning centers and milling centers capable of machining small, medium and large parts to exacting tolerances. 

All of our operations take place in a state-of-the-art 70,000 sq. ft. facility.  We welcome our customers and potential customers to tour our facilities and equipment.  

Multitasking machining centers

HF&M is proud to offer the latest in multi-axis and multi-tasking CNC machining.  We have four Mazak INTEGREX e-1060V machining centers, featuring:

• Simultaneous operations on multiple axes

• 49" max turning capacity and 52" max milling capacity

• Sub-micron input and nano control

Our Mazak machining centers are integrated with a Mazak Palletech system to automatically load and unload parts, improving both throughput and efficiency.

Milling equipment

HFM's milling centers are capable of handling parts up to 26" x 30" x 65". HFM has 7 dedicated milling stations:

• 1 ea. Mazak VTC-300B vertical machining center

• 1 ea. Mazak VTC-200B vertical machining center

• 2 ea. Mazak VTC-20B vertical machining center

• 2 ea. manual vertical mills

• 1 ea. Scharmann horizontal boring mill

Turning equipment

HFM's turning centers are capable of handling parts up to 80" diameter and 120" length.  HFM has 7 dedicated turning stations:

• 2 ea, Mazak ST-60 lathes

• 1 ea. Mazak A-16 Mega-turn vertical lathe with live tooling

• 2 ea. Mazak QT-30 lathes

• 1 ea. VDF engine lathe

• 1 ea. Jet Engine lathe

Other equipment

HFM utilizes a variety of other equipment, including:

• Hydrotest: two Barbee hydrotest units, 15,000psi

• Cranes: one bridge crane and nine jib cranes

• Welding: TIG, MIG, stick and arc welders

• Cutting, drilling and grinding: horizontal and vertical saws, radial drills and grinders
